Truffle Hot Chocolate + Gift Tag Printable with Lindt

IMG_8094

We’re so grateful to Lindt Chocolate for sponsoring today’s post.

You all know how much we love gifting around here! This year we came up with the perfect gift for neighbors and teachers: a Lindt LINDOR Truffle hot chocolate kit.

We came up with the perfect ratio of Lindt LINDOR Truffles to milk (3 truffles to one mug of whole milk), and we’ve packaged it perfectly. We’ve even included a printable gift tag.

All you need to do is put the truffles in a  special mug and attach the tag with some ribbon. If you want to go the extra mile, you can dip a wooden spoon into chocolate as well. You know our motto: chocolate makes everything better!

IMG_7719 Using a melted (melt over a double boiler or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time) Lindt Classic Recipe Bar in white and milk chocolate and peppermint truffle, dip the end of a wooden spoon in the chocolate and place on wax paper to cool and harden.

IMG_7722 To garnish, use a micro plane or vegetable peeler to shave some chocolate. Sprinkle over the spoon when the dipped chocolate is very cool to the touch but not hardened yet. If you put it on too soon, the shavings will melt away! On the peppermint spoons, I used red sprinkles to mimic the tiny bits of peppermint in the truffle.

The truffles in the mug help hold the spoons upright – but you could also wrap each spoon or set in a small cello bag and secure.

It’s a treat that anyone would enjoy receiving!

For a little extra gifting fun, we also have the perfect hot chocolate themed  gift tags. Just download and print!
