I don’t want you to think we’re only about cookies for breakfast here at Handmade Mood. So, today we’re bringing you a completely different breakfast treat … Orange Sweet Rolls! One day we’ll do something more traditional like oatmeal or waffles, but this week we’re all about getting your kids excited to be getting up early in the morning, and that requires something special.
These rolls won’t be a breakfast all by themselves, but they make a great addition to cereal, and since they’ll be fresh out of the oven I think they count as a hot breakfast! This is another dish that is prepared early, which means you just have to get up early enough to put them in the oven. We used Rhodes Rolls for these. I’m all about homemade from scratch, but sometimes other people can do it better, and that’s how I feel about Rhodes! I can make bread any day of the week, but I’m still working on mastering the dinner roll. Individual frozen dough balls work for me right now, plus they’re perfect for breakfast bread!
It will take you ten minutes to prep all of the before you go to bed. When you get up in the morning, turn on your oven and you’re ready to go. This is a perfect first day of school treat!
