St Patrick’s Day is far under celebrated, in our opinions. Instead of focusing on the potential ‘adults-only’ part of the holiday – we like to bring the whimsy of a leprechaun and clover laden day to celebrate a darling country and their banished snake population to the whole first half of the month – because, why not?
These Lime Floats are a fun and unexpected after school treat or post dinner delight. Amanda says that if you want to make it an adult style treat (you know, if green beer isn’t your thing) just treat it like a margarita and suss it up accordingly.
Lime Floats
Ingredients:
- Lime Soda
- Lime Sherbet or sorbet
Instructions:
- Put two scoops of sherbet in a tall class and fill with soda.
- Serve with a straw and a spoon!
This is one of my kids favorites…I make it for them every St. Patrick’s Day! (Along with them waking up to the furniture moved around and upside down, the toilet water green, and golden rolos hidden around the house!) We take advantage of celebrating every holiday!
This looks delicious!!
