Holiday Card Sneak Peek with Minted

Minted Christmas Cards|Handmade Mood

Thanks so much to Minted for Providing our holiday cards. All opinions are our own!

A couple of weeks ago we talked about this season’s trends for holiday greeting cards. We told you we’d show you what we picked, and that’s what we’re doing today! Can I just say how excited I am that I have all my cards and that they’re all addressed (thanks to the amazing free address service from Minted!) before Thanksgiving!

This year I went with understated watercolor look. I included one picture with all of my kids. My husband wanted more of a close-up, but when there are six kids in the photo, a little distance is your friend! Right now you have to look really closely to see some of the nonsense! We took our picture at the beach, but it was a freezing cold day, so there was not a lot of patience for a long drawn out photo shoot! I also wanted to put our new puppy in the picture, but I think six kids makes for enough chaos!

I took advantage of the back of card options that Minted provides, and I included a little family newsletter. I got all the highlights covered without stressing about any kind of formatting. Minted makes it all incredibly easy.

I always joke that I’m going to start using just one kid a year in Christmas cards so that I can get a glamour shot!

Minted Glimmer Card

Speaking of glamour shots, we have Amanda’s amazing Glimmery holiday card. When she texted me the image and the card she picked I was absolutely floored. The whole thing belongs in a magazine! All that gold and the glitter. It is so elegant and completely true to who they are. I hope you’re on her Christmas card list, because you’re going to want to get one of these in the mail!

You  still have more than enough time to order your cards. With all of the options Minted provides you just have to insert a photo (or not, if that’s not your thing!) online and add a greeting. They’ll address the envelopes in the most gorgeous way, and you can even order coordinating postage, which basically means that they arrive in the mail and then you stuff the envelopes (perfect job for little hands) and then put them right back in the mail box!

I cannot stress enough the amazing quality for very little effort on your part!

Thanks again to Minted for making our holidays so simple and stylish!
