I’m sure it wouldn’t surprise you that around here, we take gift wrap very seriously. For us, the packaging is just as important as the present and yet sometimes it feels overwhelming to pick and choose and match and coordinate. Even the years I’ve bought ONE kind of wrapping paper and ONE color tulle for bows, the choices are totally overwhelming. Minted was kind enough to send us some of their Custom Wrapping Paper to try and we’re excited to show you how we used it!
This navy, spruce and cranberry paper is a great option if you want to go dark-but-not-black and don’t let the folks-y, hand painted motif lead you down a path of just organic embellishments – it works equally well with a velvet ribbon and gold glitter.
The cream and gray in this paper leans to a sophisticated palette – but the sweet hand written sentiments keep it from being stuffy. I’m obsessed with that cotton ribbon and the fabulous feathers are perfect for a little note and “to” tag.
Many of the custom papers can be embellished with a family name, sentiment and a picture! I adore this image of us and I know the grandparents and Aunts will think it’s the cutest thing ever.
The red and black of one of Candice’s picks is completely beautiful and begs for a modern monogram or a bright red velvet bow.
A chalkboard background might make you think of school houses and paper cut snowflakes – but when matched with gold glitter ribbon, a glittered gold tag and some easy to find gold accessories, it’s instant glam under the tree. The picture of Candice’s boys perfectly suits the paper – but it would be fantastic with just about any image you popped in!
If you’re a baker or kitchen goddess -this paper is YOU. The recipe itself is editable – you could put in any one of your “famous” recipes and then the paper becomes a gift in itself! How cute will this be tied with a pretty silver ribbon and a cookie cutter on top? Or use an inexpensive wooden spoon as a TO/FROM tag!
Sarah’s family fits perfectly in this cheery paper and a red grosgrain ribbon, gold glitter tag and mini bottle brush tree are the icing on the cake.
We love LOVE the Minted Custom Wrapping Paper and can’t wait to show you some of the finished projects we’ve wrapped up with it. I bought some basic wrapping paper for the bigger boxes and not-so-special gifts – but of all the wrapping paper I”m excited to have under my tree – this is at the top of the stack!
Gorgeous wrapping choices and bow pairings – love them all!
