When you’re party planning, what do you start with? A theme, color, look? I start with the “paper”. More often than not a party, shower or event will start with a basic idea and totally blossom when the right invitation and supporting cast of paper is discovered. We were delighted to work with Minted to make Friendsgiving come to life.

There are literally pages of Thanksgiving invitations available – from uber elegant to playfully and witty. The three of us fell in love with this Craft Thanksgiving Invitation – and it’s neutral, and casually elegant style. It was the perfect jumping off point for our dinner party in the woods. (HA!)
Building on the textures and shades of the invitation, we envisioned this Natural Lokta Banner jumping from oak tree to oak tree defining the dinner space in the middle of the woods. It was even more beautiful floating over our heads from pine beam to pine beam.
We couldn’t have a party without a great photo backdrop and this Rustic Harvest Photo Backdrop suited the look of the invitation without being matchy-matchy.
The park we were planning the feat in is public, but other than a few remote entrances, is only accessible via private property. We’d planned to use these Foliage Thanksgiving Party Signs to create a visual path to the tables – almost like a secret trail. They were equally ideal to guid our friends to the new second floor studio – some of who m didn’t even know it existed until that afternoon! The signs looked darling hanging from out balcony and at the bottom of the stairs and were durable even in the rain.
One of my most favorite Minted products is their customizable banners. This Foliage Thanksgiving Personalizable Bunting Banner has several backgrounds to choose from and I loved that there was the option to only have the faux bois backer with the mustard hearts.
C’mon now. Who doesn’t love a straw flag – and can we talk about how easy easy easy they are to execute? Foliage Thanksgiving Flag Stickers would be perfect for a huge number of events. The turkey feathers are from a turkey we harvested earlier this fall and the cedar is from around the corner, harvested by Candice’s sweet husband while we set the table and got the space ready. The table cloths are making a reappearance from Vivi’s birthday and are simply canvas drop cloths potato stamped with gold dots. Similar chairs can be found here. Did we cover everything? Any other sources we missed?

The gold sequin fabric under the beautiful Central Market Turkey (y’all – second best decision we made.) is the same gold sequin fabric that we used for the pool side baby shower! You can buy it by the yard – and this table is draped with about 2 yards.
The sparkly tablecloth under the turkey! I must know!
You got it! Added the info into the post!
