Y’ALL! We’re five weeks into NCAA College Football season and this girl is a happy camper.
I love football season. I love college football, high school football and pop warner football. I love GameDay on Saturday morning (major bonus points if I can have a roaring fire and the doors open) and dinner on a TV tray for Saturday night games (if I can’t be IN the stadium, of course).
I know I might be in the minority – I totally get that there are many levels of fandom and even interest in the (greatest) game (ever). But, truth be told, we are a football loving people here in the South and, I’d even stretch that to say, the US. For our non American friends, just to be clear, I’m talking about pig skins and quarterbacks and touchdowns.
If you aren’t a football fan, or are a lukewarm partaker of the occasional game, please don’t abandon us forever. We hope to bring some practical football goodies to you this week including a super easy to understand game guide that will help explain the weird terms and help you make sense of the seemingly pointless scramble around the field, a fantastic game day munchie recipe that is perfect for any get together, a super adorable spirit wreath idea and a round up of our favorite school color apparel with not a licensed t-shirt in sight so you can be game day ready no matter who you (or your man/fam/gal/friend) is rooting for.
It’s Fall, y’all. Happy Football Season!
