Sometimes a walk through a park or on a trail can just be a walk. A time to listen to the sounds of nature, enjoy the crunching of pebbles or leaves under your feet and being together (or climbing boulders and being King of It All…).
Other times a walk needs a little motivation and purpose – and this photo scavenger hunt is just the right amount of “pay attention to your surroundings” motivation.
With spots to fill in some location-centric items you are sure to find, it becomes a guaranteed success and enjoyable activity. Print one to a page for full page list keeping or two to a page for small size fun. Encourage your explorers to use a camera (point and shoot, iPhone, etc) to collect their evidence and leave nature undisturbed. This would make an excellent spread in a Project Life album – with pictures YOU take of your explorers scavenging.
