We’ve talked before about our One Little Word, but we usually do closer to the beginning of the year. We’re a little late for 2017, but better late than never! My word for this year is Remember and Amanda’s is Gumption. If you know Amanda at all, you know that’s the perfect word for her, especially with her new adventure.
I wanted to celebrate Amanda’s new responsibilities over at ACMB, and let her know that I’m cheering her on from Alaska. I thought a pennant with her word in gold would give her the message! I have a vintage Baton Rouge pennant, and so I just traced the shape onto a piece of felt. I used my Silhouette Cameo and the Silhouette Metallic Heat Transfer Vinyl to cut out the word. I’m excited about the way it turned out, and I’m hoping Amanda will like it. I’m not sure if the vinyl is really designed for felt. It’s completely stuck on there, but it doesn’t look the same as it does on cotton. It’s more on top of the fabric, so it will be a different look if you use it with a heavy cotton pennant.
Don’t forget that Silhouette has a Spring Promotion going on right now. Just enter the code MOOD to get the amazing deal on the Cameo on the Mint. Trust me when I tell you that the Mint is a game changer. I think it may be the most underrated Silhouette product.
